By using Mathemly (website, materials, quizzes, tutoring), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Services

Mathemly provides free educational content (articles, quizzes, practice tests) and optional paid one-on-one tutoring sessions.

Accounts & Registration

You must register with a valid email and choose a secure password. You are responsible for the activity under your account.

Google Analytics and Google API Services

Mathemly uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to help us understand how visitors use our website and to improve our content and performance.

Google Analytics may automatically collect certain information about your visit, such as your device type, browser type, anonymized IP address, pages you view, and time spent on the site. This information is used for analytics purposes only and is processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy practices.

Payments & Fees

Paid services are processed via third-party payment providers (Stripe/PayPal). You agree to payment terms, and Mathemly isn't responsible for issues arising at payment providers.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal or harmful activities
  • Upload obscene, offensive, or copyrighted materials without permission
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the Service
  • Share login credentials

Content Ownership & Use

All free materials on Mathemly are owned by Mathemly or licensed. You may use them for personal education only.

For content you submit (e.g., uploaded documents), you retain ownership; you grant Mathemly a license to store and use it for providing tutoring.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Mathemly provides educational content "as is." We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or that content will meet your needs.

Mathemly is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, errors, or omissions.

Paid Tutoring Refunds & Cancellations

If a tutoring session is canceled by either you or the tutor at least 24 hours in advance, you may receive a full or partial refund, according to our refund policy (if any).

Modifications

We may update Terms or Privacy Policy. We will notify you via email or website banner. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by laws of the State of Maryland, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts in Maryland.
